Episode One
Mac: Hello, I’m a Mac.
iPad: And I’m an iPad.
Mac: You know, we use a lot of the same kinds of apps.
iPad: Yeh, like Microsoft Office.
Mac: But, errr, we retain a lot about us that makes us ‘us’.
iPad: You should see what this guy can do in Final Cut. It’s insane.
Mac: Ahh shucks.
iPad: And he knows that I’m better at life stuff. Like music, pictures, movies, stuff like that.
Mac: Woah, woah, what exactly do you mean by better?
iPad: Better, as in making a photobook or a collage is easier for me and for you it’s not.
Mac: Oh that kind of better? I was thinking about the other kind.
iPad: What other kind?
The ‘Get a Mac’ advertising campaign ran between 2006 and 2009. It featured a trendy character representing Mac computers and a geeky business type in a bad suit representing PCs.
